Behind the Scenes

Hi there! I’m Anne Thomas Keen, the heart behind Sunshine and Mustard. Every day, I’m creating and embracing all the little surprises and quirks that come with the process. While I’m naturally organized, my creative side has a playful, wandering spirit. For over 30 years, I’ve worked as a buyer, designer, creator, and merchandiser in the home furnishings industry, blending my Interior Design degree and love for art to help others create spaces that truly feel like home.

Sunshine and Mustard has been my dream for years—a vision that’s evolved and grown in my heart over time. Now, I’m bringing it to life, and it’s an exciting, vulnerable journey that I’m so grateful to share with you. My hope is to create something meaningful for you, too.

Why Sunshine and Mustard? Because the simplest joys are what inspire me—like feeling the warmth of the sun or savoring the bold flavor of mustard (the best condiment, if you ask me!). Together, they represent everything I cherish: nature, travel, and a zest for life (that’s my Sagittarius side shining through!).
