Behind the Scenes
Hi there! I'm Anne Thomas Keen, the person behind Sunshine and Mustard, creating day by day, embracing all the little imperfections and surprises along the way. I’ve always been the organized type, but when it comes to creating, my mind tends to take a more playful, meandering path. For over 30 years, I’ve worked as a buyer, designer, creator, and merchandiser in the home furnishings industry. With my Interior Design degree and love for art, I’ve spent my career helping others create spaces that feel just right.
Sunshine and Mustard has been a dream of mine for years—something that’s changed and grown in my heart for a long time. Now, I’m finally bringing that dream to life. It’s a journey filled with excitement and vulnerability, and my goal is to create something that means something to you.
Why Sunshine and Mustard? Because for me, joy comes from the simplest things—feeling the warmth of the sun or enjoying the bold taste of mustard (which, let’s be honest, is the best condiment out there). Together they represent everything I love, nature, travel and the zest for life (that's my Sagittarius talking).
