After settling in California, I kept hearing about Glamis Sand Dunes and knew I had to experience them for myself. So, I planned a weekend trip to both the Salton Sea and Glamis Dunes. It was quite a windy day when I finally made it to Glamis, with gusts reaching 30-40 mph and sand flying everywhere. I was worried about my Mini's engine and my camera, so I quickly wrapped my camera in a plastic bag, dashed to the top of a dune, and snapped around 10 photos. After that, I raced back to my car and made my escape. Let's just say, I definitely need to go back for more, but I did manage to capture some great shots.
