Growing up by the beach, I spent my childhood with sand between my toes and salt air on my skin. I can't imagine growing up anywhere else. I loved watching sunrises over the ocean and scouring the beach for seashells. Now, after moving from the East Coast to the West Coast, I cherish sunsets over the ocean, scenic cliffs, and palm trees. This photograph is one of hundreds I take each week, but this one is special.
